Composition
Nigrum Cropped Cardigan is a feminine and cropped cardigan with raglan, a beautiful frontband, and a wide ribbed hem, which is supposed to be placed in the waistline. 
 
The cardigan is knit top down, so you can easily adjust the length at both the body and sleeves while knitting. The cardigan is supposed to be worn with approx. 0-10 cm positive ease.

Body length measured center back: 48 (50) 53 (55) 57 cm. 
 
Materials
175 (175) 200 (225) 225 g of Alpaca Classic from Rowan 120 m/25 g or thin Silk Mohair 210 m/ 25 g e. g. Kid Seta from Gepard or any other silk mohair quality held double.
 
The pictured model is knit with Alpaca Classic from Rowan color 103, Noir.

You will need 5 buttons and 4 stitch markers to knit this cardigan.

 
Needles
The cardigan is knit in Stockinette stitch knitting back and forth on needle size 4.5 mm/ 4 mm (80 cm). 
 
The ribbed hems are knit on circular needle size 3.5 mm/3 mm (80 cm). I recommend double-pointed needles at the beginning of the project when you knit the neckband (the first part of the frontbands).
 
Gauge
19 sts x 27 rows in stockinette stitch back and forth on needle size 4.5 mm with one strand of Alpaca Classic/ on needle size 4 mm with two strands of thin Silk Mohair = 10 x 10 cm.
